very interesting…that’s the second poem i read within a week that is going in this direction… i always hope that our sports zones just stay sports zones.. but you surely got me thinking…sharply penned
it’s good to see sport with a capital letter.
i know…..beginning of a sentence and all, but still,
zola budd really did or does run barefoot.
I capitalised (on) it because it’s the name of a Roman goddess (probably). Zola said “J’accuse Mary Decker of taking a dive!”
Good to know.
I laughed out loud – right or wrong, I laughed out loud
You’re aloud to.
Made my morning.
1) Made my bed.
2) Made my breakfast.
3) Made your morning.
Winning so far today.
So happy you exist.
My aim is true.
Indeed on target!
Amazing how many of mine just clip the crossbar before I do get one in, though.
One gets medals too and heroes become old talking over old campaigns.
… until they begin to sound like just another ‘broken record’.
You are so good with words! I wish I could do that!
