Bittersweet Little Nothings: With Thanks to Marie Marshall
Thank you for your inspiration, Marie
Here’s to the rattling spoon, and the moon over Cambridge rattling like angry candy, which is what the first comment immediately brought to mind.

I’m always happy for the rattling spoon – let’s me know that it isn’t down the drain.
Jings! How big is your plughole? :O
I’m not sure how to answer that…. so many ways to go. Let’s take the SINK for instance. I have a garbage disposal, so the mouth of it (about 3″ across) is the drain hole. It’s not fun to lose the silverware in the disposal….not fun at all. Or in any other plughole, for that matter.
It’s these little cultural details that make it all worthwhile.
I am in love!
I know the feeling. It’s like a Pace-egg hunt…
