Demons prey …
so is it the owl or the thrush that you’d rather hear; that fans your fire? It doesn’t matter. I guess all the cacophony winds up as your nighttime decipher or maybe not. either way, i feel this rolling and flashing from dawn all the way to just before dawn again.
The owl. The thrush carries around the score tattooed on his chest; that’s cheating.
I’d only be pretending if I said I understood that, but I like the way it sounds; like a final judgment as the thrush is escorted out of the ark.
Love the progression into the last line. Flowers and serpents has a nice vibe to it—wonder if anyone has tried to make a nighttime-only fashion line out of it.
I trust you to draw exactly what that would look like.
