Nice reading! Love both words and reading, it’s like she knew how to say each word/phrase so well you’d think she wrote it but YOU did, lol. Going to share now.
The reader is the person who inspired me to write about NO. What I know about the city I know from her. She described the Clover Grill to me, and I wrote this poem. As for her reading, I trust her interpretation. 🙂
I’m looking for other fans and friends to record my poems for me (I have an unattractive voice and get aphasic, so I don’t do my own recordings).
i can’t comment one way or the other bout the sound of your voice or NO, but your self deprecation melts my walls and so does how’d you put that? twilight like a whore drawing a curtain and then some diner light.
Very nice, I’m sure you will do well if this any success to measure by 🙂
suddenly inside is golden
and outside is blue
Oh…for one brief moment I thought we had heard the Siren’s voice…alas it was not you.:-)
Believe me you’d rather be working the ship with your ears stuffed with wax, than bound to the mast and listening!
Audio is such a satisfying medium when related to poetry. Its soothing and helps deliver the point at times. MM, I truly understand where you’re coming from. I run and hide from my voice. Terrifying.
BTW, this poem is Legit. I love me some NO. thank-you for this one.
I’m totally glad you like it!
