My grandmother drove one of those. I think it was yellow. It took a lot of faith to keep it running as I recall.
Let me get this gay – your grandmother drove a mountain?
things are coming up cadillac, a not so brand new cadillac, but still, my baby drove up in one with no teeth and heroin bruises on her arm, but it’s all the same. we went north instead where people wear down jackets.
There will be Cadillacs around for a while, but none with teeth.
Fin / tail light / baptism –> fish
Serif signs / sheriff signs / Cadillac –> outlaw
You evoke vibes of “Trainspotting”/”Mad Max” (though I think the latter used a ’59 Cadillac).
If I leave now I’ll be in time to see how the fins compare…
The Cadillac: built for driving cross-country, procuring illicit loot, and poetry-based pop culture ruminations.
good bye to serif signs..ha… love how the car rises from planet earth… the focus on the fin and tails and from there to so much more..
It’s amazing how much mountains can fool you from a distance.
