New project spacewalk101.
aloha Marie. funny and fun. i just posted something akin to your visual layout concept a couple of days ago. altho not to the degree you are after, it does challenge the reader to go vertical or horizontal.
all my life i’ve been a “visual” response reader. which has made it difficult for me education wise at times as well as with written directions and forms. so way fun and way cool on you exploring this visual layout.
I don’t think this project is going to be particularly easy, mostly because it is going to rely as much as possible simply on words. It is going to be difficult to present words and to persuade readers to risk abandoning that conventional reading path. Heck, it’s going to be difficult enough marshalling (!) my own thoughts.
oh. just have fun with it (imo). i think it is very exciting. i found it was easier to create the work in an image file than to try to recreate it in the word section of posts. i think you do this already.
altho this has color it doesnt have an image, in that sense it’s just the placement of words:
which for me lead my eye up and down as well as back and forth searching and finding connections.
way fun. aloha
Yes I have been using image files for quite some time now. Believe it or not, that has been primarily to encourage readers to concentrate on the words.
Looking forward to it
Aye, but don’t hold your breath.
at 3am — goodness — my mind is chewing gum..ha… cool on the new project
Enjoy the Juicy-Fruit; meanwhile I think I’ve bitten off more than I can chew.
This is simple in the best way. I like it very much.
I can fake simplicity with the best of ’em.
Good luck! 🙂
Yeah, right, I’ll need it!
🙂 What I actually meant is I wish you good inspiration. It looks like an interesting project.
