fascist spring? and all its orders. flipping the birdy with socks optional now.
Oh, nothing as subtle as fascism!
i especially like the whips of branches before the green leaves turn them soft, but just to look at.
Awesome. Love it!
I have an awe-amplifier that goes up to 11.
🙂 Sly bugger, spring!
Hi M, I’m beginning to think you were spot-on with your observation re our complex and the burglaries.
The trustee who was intimidating everyone re socks on porches, has become so scaly about the whole thing, the other day he tried to pretend that he didn’t know about the break-ins until last week.
There has been an armed robbery now, after we stopped the patrols (and we stopped those because 1) we were dead tired and 2) the body corp were doing nothing on their end to ramp up security, so we were trying to galvanize them into action). Now the robbers came in and beat up an 18-year-old boy, and cut him with knives, I call that terrorism. He wasn’t resisting, they didn’t need to kick him around. I think it’s as you say. Those 2 trustees probably want everyone out because they probably want to buy the places up cheap and sell them to some developer or something.
I forgot it’s autumn down there!
I sometimes get good at reading people and situations, Lyz, which is remarkable considering what a screw-up I am myself. I read your blog about the situation there. It’s not acceptable. Apart from anything else, it’s affecting your business activities (which means it’s affecting *me* indirectly), no need to mention the aspect of personal safety which is, of course, of paramount importance! What you do next is entirely up to you – you have a spectrum of choices that stretches from moving home to wiring the front door up to a heavy-duty truck battery after a certain time in the evening. Seriously, good luck with the problem. I mean it.
Thanks, M! There’s a lot I’m not even mentioning but let’s say we’re pretty sure it’s an inside job. Honestly, onslaughts every night? A real burglar would spread his risks…
