Lovely, as usual. Are you Marie Marshall? Judy
I hope so. Either that or I’m in the wrong house.
Ha…I’ve never known if you are male or female–I imagine European due to the exotic name, however it just occurred to me your first initial might be K and the rest your last name…but I’ve always thought of you as Kvenn Arad. Whatever your name, your poetry is always intriguing….Judy
The blog title comes from the proverb ‘köld eru opt kvenna rað’, which is from the old Icelandic ‘Gisla Saga’ and means ‘woman’s counsel is often cold’. I thought of changing it to make it obvious who I am, but the ‘Who’, ‘Where’ and ‘What’ pages do that, plus if you click on whatever icon I have at the foot of each poem, it takes you to my main web site.
Someone else on this thread just called me ‘Kvita’, which is kinda nice. 🙂
I’m glad you find my poetry intriguing.
Come to think of it, the ‘© Marie Marshall’ at the foot of each poem is a bit of a give-away.
You have such powerful expressions, Kavita. I always love reading your verses.
Thank you. I always love being read.
the lampshade swung in faint coriolis.. what a very cool image that is!!
It’s one of those things that just came to me. 🙂
