Yes. Okra is a slimy sort of dish, but I had it once in Missouri–breaded and deep fried–and it was delicious. I think you have to prepare it just right. I used to hate it when it was in canned Campbell’s vegetable soup. Ick.

Amazing image! I tried to make a pun using a curried/cumin-added okra recipe I tried recently, but fell on my face. Instead, I’ll settle for applauding your virtuosic poetic ways.
So long as you missed the bowl of curry when you fell, got up, dusted yourself down, and started over again. I’m glad you liked the image.
