My favourite contemporary writer (i.e. a writer roughly contemporary with myself) is Sam Snoek-Brown. Sam’s unique way of promoting his new chapbook of short stories, Where There Is Ruin, is to get us to promote it for him! No problem. I love his fiction. I thought I would do something a little zen for him, not knowing as I wrote it that there is a story about eggs in the chapbook…
#HereIsMyRuin #HereIsMyTreasure.

Love it. Going to send to my daughter, who’s a birder.
I hope she likes it too.
