“light scrolls the wall” & “plain as a womb” are stunning. “Scrolls” is an exact verb there & completely unexpected, fine poetry. i don’t think a plain womb works logically but melodically it does & what is logic useful for in poetry anyway? Poet’s can talk tripe so long as it’s beatitude & you can’t measure that
I only aim at syntactic correctness. The rest’s up to you!
It’s a rugged poem in the best sense of the word. Some timeless imagery there…
I was going for momentary, but I’ll gladly take timeless.
no bacon for me as i’m vegan but a nice cup of tea – anytime
