Two dark nights

:

for two dark nights

and one blood red morning

I skinned to you

:

– your wounds were mine

your words came from my mouth

in a bitter tumble

:

and what a blasphemy

we made and left such

a long ache of loving

One of the reasons I hardly ever post poems here any more, is that WordPress’s new “Gutenberg” editing process is COMPLETELY USER-UNFRIENDLY, and what is more, the option to choose “classic” editing DOES NOT WORK. This current poem is spaced by colons (“:”) which I have coloured white using Gutenberg; as my readers can see, that has had NO EFFECT. WordPress take note, you are NOT the friend of your users!

Faithful friends and readers, if there is another blogging platform that you are willing to follow me to, then please let me know, and I’ll start to use it.
